“ We’ve been big fans of ST for many, many years and are delighted that they have found a new spot to serve their yummy food. I made a mistake while ordering from the online menu and didn’t realize until after the food had been picked up. They generously fixed MY mistake without any hesitation. The food is so comforting and the you know it’s made with heart. Get it spicy! ”

“ Tried this place for the first time today. The food here is amazing! You can truly taste the love that went into it. The owner is extremely nice as well, and though it's so new they haven't finished decorating yet, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. This is not your typical Indian restaurant with the same-same options. Organic, vegan and GF options, vibrant, fresh ingredients, and a focused, rotating menu with items you don't normally see. Try the chai, it's delicious! In the photo - chicken tikka masala, chana masala, potato/veg curry. The portions are great - I still have half of it sitting in my fridge for later. My new favorite Indian restaurant, and Indian is one of my all-time top favorite cuisines -- I've had a lot of it. I'll be back! ”
“ Did we have to wait a while for our food? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely, 100%, yes! We had visited Simmering Tava shortly after they first opened so things were not quite in order - completely understandable! But, they went above and beyond to compensate for this by offering us a free dish of vegetable pakora. When our food arrived in compartmentalized platters and we took our first few bites, we were already planning our next trip back to Bellingham solely for the purpose of eating at this restaurant again. We've been to many Indian restaurants, but this one is definitely something special! ”
“ Wonderful service and super tasty food! The employees are so friendly and helpful. I had the chicken combo recently, my friend had the lamb combo. Our only complaint would be that it could have been warmer, however that didn't take away from the flavor.. I've had the tikka tacos previously which are equally awesome. ”

“ So thrilled to discover Simmering Tava is back as a food truck outside Kulshan Roosevelt. Butter chicken is delicious. The salad that comes with it with the minty green dressing caused such a craving in me that one night I worked until after 8 o'clock came home Googled their hours and saw they had closed at 8 o'clock and was devastated until next day after 12 noon on my day off I could go down and grab lunch. ahhhh! craving satisfied! Generous portion of basmati rice paired with absolutely delicious butter chicken. Never disappointing, only suggestion would be please get rid of the aluminum foil. ”
